Cannabidiol ist eines von mehr als 100 Phytocannabinoiden, die in der Cannabis Sativa Pflanze enthalten sind.
Der Anbau der Cannabis Sativa Pflanze (Nutzhanf) ist in Europa erlaubt und das Cannabidiol in den meisten europäischen Ländern eine legale Substanz. CBD ist wie THC (Tetrahydrocannabinol)
eines der dominierenden Cannabinoide  in der Hanfpflanze. Cannabidiol wirkt im Gegensatz zu THC nicht psychoaktiv,  erzeugt also keinen Rausch.
Die Cannabispflanze produziert kein CBD, sondern immer die Vorstufe CBDA (Cannabidiolsäure). Diese Cannabinoide sind in den Pflanzen nicht aktiv und müssen erst aktiviert werden. Dies passiert dann, wenn  das Cannabis decarboxyliert wird. Bei diesem Prozess wird aus den Blüten der  Cannabis-Pflanze das CBD mittels CO2-Extraktion gewonnen. Dies ist die derzeit schonendste Methode           der CBD-Gewinnung. Dabei werden die Pflanzenstoffe aus dem Hanf gelöst, das CBDA  wird freigesetzt. Das CBDA  wird mittels Decarboxylierung (Abspaltung eines  Co2 Moleküls) in CBD umgewandelt. 
Dadurch wird das CBD für   den menschlichen Körper vollkommen verwertbar und  u.a. über die Mundschleimhaut aufgenommen.

Same as THC (tetrahydrocannabinol), CBD is one of the dominant cannabinoids in the hemp plant. In contrast to  
THC, cannabidiol is not psychoactive, so it does not produce a intoxication. The cannabis plant does not produce CBD, but      
always the preliminary stage  CBDA (cannabidiolic acid). These cannabinoids are not active in the plants and must first be
activated. This is what happens when the cannabis is decarboxylated. In this process, the the CBD is extracted from the      
blossom of the cannabis plant using CO2 extraction. This is currently the most gently method of CBD extraction. The plant     
substances are released from the hemp and the CBDA is released. The CBDA will converted into CBD by decarboxylation
(splitting of a Co2 molecule). This makes the CBD  fully usable by the human body and, among other things, absorbed
through the oral mucosa.
